- Can I use reusable pods with the Line1? Yes. Our stainless steel brew path and precision sealing system allow reusable stainless steel capsules to perform exceptionally well, pulling full flavor and rich crema with no leaks or weak shots.
- Does the Line1 work with Vertuo pods? No. The Line1 is designed exclusively for Nespresso OriginalLine pods and compatible third-party capsules. VertuoLine capsules use a proprietary barcode system and are not supported.
- Is the Line1 compatible with compostable or eco-friendly pods? Yes. The BCG System was designed specifically to support compostable capsules made by innovative roasters focused on sustainability. The result is less waste and better coffee.
- Can the Line1 make more than just espresso? Absolutely. You can brew single or double espresso shots, full cups of Americano-style coffee, or use the dedicated hot water spout for tea, French press, or any drink that needs clean, hot water on demand.
