These coffee pods feature Cremoso, a smooth and balanced espresso blend from Cafe Agga designed for Nespresso OriginalLine machines. Built for everyday drinking, these coffee capsules deliver comforting chocolate and nut flavors with a naturally creamy texture that works beautifully for both espresso and milk-based drinks.

In the cup, Cremoso leads with milk chocolate sweetness followed by warm hazelnut depth and a soft caramel finish that lingers without feeling heavy. The overall profile is round, smooth, and approachable, creating a cup that feels satisfying and easy to enjoy from the first sip to the last.

This medium roast blend combines coffees sourced from Nicaragua and Ethiopia. When roasted at this level, coffees from these regions balance sweetness and body while maintaining just enough complexity to stay interesting. The result is a chocolate-forward espresso with nutty warmth and gentle sweetness rather than sharp acidity.

Each capsule is calibrated to brew consistently in Nespresso compatible pod machines, including the Milton Line1. The grind and capsule resistance are tuned to favor smoothness and body over intensity. On Miltons 1-4 extraction flow scale, Cremoso lands at a 2, producing a creamy, even extraction that holds its balance across espresso shots and milk drinks.

Roast & Origin

This is a medium roast blend sourced from Nicaragua and Ethiopia. Coffees from these regions, when roasted at a medium level, tend to balance sweetness and body with just enough complexity to stay interesting. The result is a chocolate-forward profile with nutty warmth and gentle sweetness rather than sharp acidity.

Calibrated Extraction

Cremoso is dialed in with a balanced grind and moderate capsule resistance to keep the cup smooth and approachable. It flows at a comfortable pace that prioritizes body and sweetness over intensity. Brewing Tips

Each Cafe Agga pod contains about 6 grams of coffee, so how you brew it makes difference.

Strong Espresso: 25ml (switch #1)

Mild Espresso: 50ml (switch #2)

Strong Coffee: 25ml espresso + 75ml hot water

Mild Coffee: Brew two pods + 150ml hot water

Too strong? add water. Weak? Less water. It all comes down to preference, and once you've got your recipe down, the Line1 can save that setting.

Café Agga is one of Canada’s most respected specialty coffee roasters, and what stood out to us is how hands-on they are. Unlike many capsule brands that rely on co-packers, Agga imports their own green coffee, roasts it themselves, and packs every capsule in-house. That level of control shows up in consistency and freshness.

Agga is also a third-generation, family-run business. The Agathiadis family has been involved in coffee since the 1940s, with roots in Africa and Europe before founding Café Agga in Quebec in the late 1980s. Today, we work directly with Stephanie Agathiadis, who continues the family’s long-standing focus on quality and sourcing.
