These coffee pods feature a smooth medium roast lungo blend from Cafe Agga, designed specifically for longer espresso extractions. Built for Nespresso OriginalLine machines, these coffee capsules deliver a mellow, chocolate-forward profile that works beautifully for lungos, Americanos, and longer cups of coffee.

In the cup, Cafe Aggas Lungo leads with rich dark chocolate sweetness supported by a gentle ripe red fruit finish. The result is a silky, balanced coffee that feels comforting and smooth without becoming heavy. The medium roast allows chocolate and nutty tones to come forward while maintaining a clean, pleasant finish even as the cup gets larger.

Each capsule is carefully calibrated to brew consistently in Nespresso compatible pod machines, including the Milton Line1. The grind and capsule resistance are tuned for longer extractions that preserve sweetness and clarity rather than intensity. Taste & Texture

Cafe Agga Lungo is smooth, balanced, and easygoing, built around dark chocolate sweetness with a ripe red fruit-like finish. Its comforting and clean, with a silky texture that stays pleasant even as the cup gets longer.

Roast & Origin

This is a medium roast Arabica blend designed specifically for longer extractions. At this roast level, chocolatey and nutty flavors come forward without tipping into bitterness, making it ideal for lungos and Americanos. The balance here is intentional - rich enough to feel satisfying, but light enough to stay smooth over a larger cup.

Calibrated Extraction

This Lungo is calibrated to extract evenly over a longer pull, using a grind and capsule resistance that support clarity and smoothness rather than intensity. It flows slightly slower than mass-market pods, helping preserve sweetness and avoid dilution. On our 1-4 flow scale, it lands at a 2, delivering a controlled, silky extraction that holds up beautifully as volume increases.

Brewing Tips

Each Cafe Agga pod contains about 6 grams of coffee, so how you brew it makes difference.

Strong Espresso: 25ml (switch #1)

Mild Espresso: 50ml (switch #2)

Strong Coffee: 25ml espresso + 75ml hot water

Mild Coffee: Brew two pods + 150ml hot water

Too strong? add water. Weak? Less water. It all comes down to preference, and once you've got your recipe down, the Line1 can save that setting.

Café Agga is one of Canada’s most respected specialty coffee roasters, and what stood out to us is how hands-on they are. Unlike many capsule brands that rely on co-packers, Agga imports their own green coffee, roasts it themselves, and packs every capsule in-house. That level of control shows up in consistency and freshness.

Agga is also a third-generation, family-run business. The Agathiadis family has been involved in coffee since the 1940s, with roots in Africa and Europe before founding Café Agga in Quebec in the late 1980s. Today, we work directly with Stephanie Agathiadis, who continues the family’s long-standing focus on quality and sourcing.
