In the cup, Organico leads with dark chocolate depth and hazelnut richness, followed by a subtle citrus brightness that keeps the coffee lively rather than heavy. The texture stays silky and clean from start to finish, making it equally enjoyable as a straight espresso or with a splash of milk.

This medium roast blend combines coffees sourced from Peru and Brazil, two regions well known for producing chocolatey, nut-forward coffees with natural balance. Roast & Origin

This is a medium roast blend sourced from Peru and Brazil. Coffees from these regions tend to bring chocolatey, nut-forward flavors, and when roasted at a medium level, they keep that richness while allowing a touch of natural brightness to come through. The result is a balanced, approachable coffee that feels familiar but never flat.

Calibrated Extraction

Organico is calibrated with a grind and capsule resistance that favor smoothness and clarity over intensity. It flows slightly slower than mass-market pods, helping preserve sweetness and structure without pushing bitterness. On our 1-4 flow scale, it lands at a 2, delivering a controlled, silky extraction that feels consistent and easy to dial in.

Brewing Tips

Each Cafe Agga pod contains about 6 grams of coffee, so how you brew it makes difference.

Strong Espresso: 25ml (switch #1)

Mild Espresso: 50ml (switch #2)

Strong Coffee: 25ml espresso + 75ml hot water

Mild Coffee: Brew two pods + 150ml hot water

Too strong? add water. Weak? Less water. It all comes down to preference, and once you've got your recipe down, the Line1 can save that setting.

Cafe Agga Coffee

Café Agga is one of Canada’s most respected specialty coffee roasters, and what stood out to us is how hands-on they are. Unlike many capsule brands that rely on co-packers, Agga imports their own green coffee, roasts it themselves, and packs every capsule in-house. That level of control shows up in consistency and freshness.

Agga is also a third-generation, family-run business. The Agathiadis family has been involved in coffee since the 1940s, with roots in Africa and Europe before founding Café Agga in Quebec in the late 1980s. Today, we work directly with Stephanie Agathiadis, who continues the family’s long-standing focus on quality and sourcing.
