Roasted in Melbourne, Australia, these coffee pods deliver a grounded, chocolate-forward cup built for morning espresso and milk drinks.

In the cup, Wide Awake opens with deep dark chocolate richness followed by warm brown sugar sweetness that adds body and balance. A subtle almond note appears through the finish, bringing gentle nutty depth that keeps the profile smooth and composed. The texture remains creamy and cohesive, creating an espresso that feels bold yet easy to enjoy from the first sip to the last.

This dark roast blend combines coffees sourced from Brazil and El Salvador. Brazilian coffees contribute chocolate body and natural sweetness, while Salvadoran coffees add structure and balance. This is a dark roast blend built from coffees sourced in Brazil and El Salvador. When roasted darker, these coffees tend to emphasize sweetness and body rather than brightness, producing a grounded, approachable espresso with real presence.

Calibrated Extraction

Wide Awake is calibrated for a smooth, pressure-driven extraction that supports richness without bitterness. The flow is controlled but not slow. On our 1-4 flow scale, it lands at a 2, meaning consistent, balanced extraction is expected and intentional.

Brewing Tips

Each St Ali pod contains about 6 grams of coffee, so how you brew it makes difference.

Strong Espresso: 25ml (switch #1)

Mild Espresso: 50ml (switch #2)

Short Coffee: 25ml espresso + 75ml hot water

Tall Coffee: Brew two pods + 150ml hot water

Too strong? add water. Weak? Less water. It all comes down to preference, and once you've got your recipe down, the Line1 can save that setting.
